WordPress for Field Methods

My field methods class getting underway nicely this semester. The language is Pwo Karen, and I’m really looking forward to spending more quality time with a tone language.

To organise and share data between the students, we’re using a wordpress site. I can’t link to it here because it’s restricted to Yale (and the students) only at present, but we will probably open it up towards the end of the semester once we’ve got the feel of it.
It seems to be working pretty well so far. It’s nice for me to have all the student plans in one place, and to see the writeups for each session. I think it’s also good discipline to have something up soon after each session. It also allows us to have just about all the material shared in one place. I’ll post here further about how it goes, and how the students find it (if they ok it).
