I didn’t want to upgrade to version 3.2 of Elan while I was in the field in case it broke, but I’ve just taken the plunge. The new version is great, and includes lots of new features. One is a font browser. It seems you can’t actually change the font of the annotations, but you can see how they’ll look in another font. The praat import/export is improved. It also seems to load a bit faster. Unfortunately, the bug where the cursor would sometimes jump to the end of the file still isn’t fixed.
