Chooky Boys
The Northern Territory News has a nice article about the Chooky Dancers (of Zorba the Greek Yolŋu Style fame). What I like in particular about this article is the way Frank (my cousin, incidentally) pushes knowledge exchange, what the boys got out of going to the Menzies centre as well as their dancing. That outlook has been really important in how my fieldwork has gone at Milingimbi - that is, that the work goes two ways - and I wish that approach were respected more in government policy making.
